June 27, 2012, Redwood City, Calif. – Omidyar Network announced today a grant of up to $2.9M to mySociety of the U.K. mySociety will use the three-year grant to scale its business development capacity, deploy more resources to refresh their core web sites, and develop new and innovative products that are at the cutting edge of using technology for social change. This is the second grant Omidyar Network has made to mySociety through the philanthropic investment firm's government transparency initiative.
