As Operations Manager, Gillian manages the Asia team’s funding activities. 

Prior to joining Luminate, Gillian served as a Research Officer to the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. In this role she worked with civil society and conducted research on policy issues related to social protection, sexual harassment, gender equality, and children's welfare. She previously was a Program Assistant at the World Bank in Kuala Lumpur. Gillian began her career working as a Parliamentary Research Officer, focused on human rights and inequality.
