In her role as Associate, Fernanda supports Luminate’s partners and advocacy efforts in Latin America, with a special focus on Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia.  

Fernanda has experience in political advocacy, and in the implementation and design of development and human rights projects, particularly focused on women's rights. She also has experience in networking and building strategic alliances with civil society and philanthropic organisations, public policy analysis, and fundraising. Prior to joining Luminate, Fernanda worked at Instituto de Liderazgo Simone de Beauvoir, a Mexican feminist civil society organization that aims to create a more just and equal society for women. Previously, she was an intern at the British Embassy in Mexico where she assisted the Domestic and International Policy teams.
