In her role as an Analyst on Luminate's Learning & Impact team, Imaa works to support the foundation’s teams on each of their learning journeys. 

Imaa brings deep expertise in process improvement, fundraising, and project management of stakeholders, data, and finances to her role. Before joining Luminate, Imaa held project management positions within policy, advocacy, and community organising spaces. She played a central role in driving organisational success by contributing to the enhancement of communication outreach and event marketing aimed at amplifying the impact and reach of grassroots organisations within the US social justice movement.

Additionally, Imaa interned in the Africa Division at Human Rights Watch. There, she conducted comprehensive research and monitored media coverage on human rights issues across Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Mali, leveraging her background in international studies to support human rights efforts.
