In her role as Associate, Sam works with the Global Programmes team to support transregional organisations and initiatives in their efforts to create an environment where people can access accurate, trustworthy information, and where the use of technology respects human rights and social justice. 

Sam brings extensive experience in social and behaviour change programming, systems change, and impact evaluation to the team, as well as a deep understanding and curiosity of the intersection between information ecosystems, technology, and democracy. Prior to joining Luminate, Sam designed and led strategy for counter-misinformation and media literacy campaigns and programmes, worked closely with researchers to distill learnings and best practices to build information resilience in communities, and designed capacity-building workshops for civil society organisations across Asia Pacific.
