As an Associate with the Africa team, Tari contributes to building a robust pipeline of organisations aligning strategically with Luminate's objectives. She also coordinates the partner support efforts for the Africa team.

Tari is an experienced manager with expertise in leading social impact and development programs, development communications, program management, advocacy campaigns, fiscal transparency, participatory governance, and implementing open government principles.

Before joining Luminate, she was with the Nigeria Open Government Partnership (OGP) Secretariat, where she provided technical assistance to various government institutions across Nigeria's 36 states under the $1.5 billion Federal Government and World Bank-assisted States Fiscal Transparency Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) Program for Results (PforR). Concurrently, she supported the Corporate Affairs Commission under the World Bank’s Fiscal Governance and Institutions Project (FGIP), to develop Nigeria’s public register of beneficial owners. She also supported the OGP Global Support Unit by facilitating global lesson-sharing programs among OGP members.
